Ofe Nsala, White Soup

Nsala soup is a delicate, aromatic Nigerian “white soup” known for its smooth, light texture and rich yet subtle flavour. Traditionally prepared without palm oil, it is made with a carefully blended mix of yam (used as a natural thickener), traditional spices, and either fresh catfish or other white fish. The result is a comforting broth that is both warming and deeply satisfying, often enjoyed with pounded yam, fufu, or semovita.
